The "UPPER CASE" button converts all input characters into original characters, depending on the text of the button.

The "lower case" button converts all input characters into lowercase or uppercase letters, depending on the text of the button.

The "Title Case" button converts all input characters in such a way that the first letter of each word, which is not a prefix, a combination, or an article and less than four letters, is capitalized.

The "Sentence Case" button converts all input characters to a conventional sentence, where the first letter of each sentence is capitalized. Note that the "Sentence Case" cannot account for proper nouns. Names like "Jamie" or places like "United States of America" need to be manually capitalized. Punctuation is also not added to the end of the sentence, and is not counted for extra white space, or lack of spaces. See "Normalizing with Single Space" or "Normalizing with Double Space" to handle some of these cases.

The "Capitalized Case" button includes the prepositions, conjunctions, and articles (as opposed to the title case) of the first letter of each word.

The "inverse case" switches between all capital letters and uppercase letters to all input characters.

The "Normalize with a single space" button "normalizes" the inputted text and characters. The purpose of the converter is to "clear" a text input by removing the blank layout or white space, as well as adding the required spaces. This removes the extra white space between the letters and the specified punctuation. It adds a single space after the punctuation markers that end a sentence (duration, exclamation mark, question mark). Also, it usually converts the input characters into syntax without changing the case (while ignoring line breaks). The difference between the "Normalized with Single Space" and "Normalized with Double Space" option is the number of spaces added after the punctuation that ends the sentence.

The "Normalize with a single space" button "normalizes" the inputted text and characters. The purpose of the converter is to "clear" a text input by removing the blank layout or white space, as well as adding the required spaces. This removes the extra white space between the letters and the specified punctuation. It adds two spaces after the punctuation marker (for more formal writing) that ends a sentence (duration, exclamation mark, question mark). Also, it usually converts the input characters into syntax without changing the case (while ignoring line breaks). The only difference between the "Normalize with double space" and "Normalize with single space" option is the number of spaces added after the punctuation that ends the sentence.
